Carbon Copy Pro is really a marketing system “wrapped” around a network marketing company. The company, founded by Jay Kubassek, claims to have spent big bucks and 4 years developing the marketing system. The network marketing company that the marketing plan is “wrapped” around, is Wealth Masters International. Wealth Masters International specializes in direct sales. Mike Dillard and Jay Kubassek have teamed up to form a formidable pair in the network marketing arena. You may remember Mike Dillard, the glib author of “Magnetic Sponsoring.”

The Product line The product line at Carbon Copy Pro mostly consists of “How To” financial information products. Examples of some of the titles are, “How To Consolidate Your Debts,” or “How To Protect Your Assets.” Nothing to really get me too excited. Pretty “run of the mill” stuff. The company features 3 product “lines,” M-1 through M-3. They are priced as follows: M-1 1995.00, M-2 8995.00, and the M-3, a whopping 19,995.00! WHO-EEE!

So, What Is The “System?” For that kind of money, it better be good! The company claims that the marketing system solves the 4 main problems people face when trying to make it in network marketing. Which, according to them are:

1.) Credibility 2.) Running Out Of Funds Before Making A Sale 3.) Closing A Sale 4.) The Marketing

For 100.00 a month, distributors for Carbon Copy Pro receive the services of a call center that closes sales and provides customer service. In addition, the company markets an informational DVD featuring Mike Dillard and Jay Kubassek. The DVD purchase is required of all that apply to become part of Carbon Copy Pro. The DVD goes for 49.95, and helps to sort out the “tire kickers” and put money in the pockets of the distributors.

Show Me The Money! Distributors receive a hefty chunk up front each time either a M-1, M-2, or an M-3 package is sold. Carbon Copy Pro prides itself on providing distributors with immediate, up front income. These 4 figure commission checks are significantly higher than most MLM commission checks. The compensation plan also includes residual overrides, which rewards distributors for training and helping their recruits. Nice touch!

In conclusion, I have checked around and their are many distributors doing quite well with Carbon Copy Pro. My only concern with the company is that the product line is nothing more than an excuse to “pass” money around. In order to avoid being labeled a pyramid scheme by the F.T.C., a company must have a product or service that a consumer would buy even if no business opportunity were included. This company passes that test. I must say, though, I cannot remember the last time I spent several thousand dollars on financial information products!

2009 Carbon Copy Pro 90 Day Challenge

Setting goals is crucial to ultimately achieving success. The majority of people still don’t seem to really get this, so I would like to elaborate just a little, if I may. We have probably all heard the saying “how do you know you are there, if you didn’t decide where you wanted to go?” Yes, it might sound a little silly but if you are honest with yourself, you will realize that there is a wealth of truth in that statement.

I have been retired from my full-time position with the Government for many years. I had a very responsible job as District Manager for Health & Welfare Canada. However, I had no computer or marketing skills. My staff were the ones who knew their way around the computers and there was no need for me to learn about it.

Fast forward to November, 2008 when I decided that I was going to fulfill a goal of mine. That goal was to have my own home-based internet marketing business. I did my research thoroughly and decided on joining a Company called Carbon Copy Pro. What I loved about them was that they were a complete marketing system that had been developed to help solve problems most people faced in a home-based business and they provided them with all the tools to succeed. If you can imagine, they even closed the deals for you!!

I just happened to watch a video of their Convention in the Fall of 2008 and they mentioned a program that they were offering. It was called the 2009 Carbon Copy Pro 90-Day Challenge. I made a few phone calls and was able to register for this course. This evening was the last of the weekly webinars. We will have a wrap up webinar next week, on March 2, 2009. One of the instructors asked us to record our progress during this 90 day period.

This got me thinking about where I am today compared to where I was back in early December, when we had our first webinar. I had never written articles before, I had never done a video, I had never had a blog, or a Facebook or Twitter account. I had never even heard of half of these things.

So what have I managed to accomplish during this period of time? Well, I have learned something about writing articles and I have actually written 20 of them and have had them all published with EzineArticles. That alone would have made me deliriously happy….but I also managed to get all 20 articles on the front page of Google and some were even in the very first position.

I then purchased a little webcam and threw myself into making videos. I now have 26 videos uploaded to YouTube and I have 37 people actually subscribing to my YouTube channel so that they can be informed whenever I produce a new video. People leave me very complimentary comments and thank me for helping them in one way or another with their business.

I started a Wordpress.com blog but have recently switched over to a Wordpress.org blog which I host myself. I am in the process of learning to do my own capture pages also. I have posted a Press Release and will be doing another one this week.

As of today, I have 567 followers on Twitter and 672 followers on Facebook and I have developed many wonderful relationships by networking on these sites.

In retrospect, I realize that I have accomplished a great deal during the last 90 days but this is only the beginning. I believe that there is no substitute to getting off on the right foot…it gives a person momentum and I intend to just keep motoring along to the finish line.

I know you have all heard it before, but it’s worth repeating…..”if I can do it, anyone can”. I am a 65 year old, retired woman, with no previous computer skills. If you have the desire to reach your goals, then believe me, nothing will stop you from accomplishing them. You will find that the right person will come along just at the right time or you will find the right information just when you need it. It’s very exciting and I would like to encourage any of you that are thinking of starting your own home-based business to go for it. There is no better time than right now.
